After 7 weeks of munitions training, I graduated with Dad in the audience and Mom in my quarters watching the last bit of my stuff get packed up for the UK! I have now arrived and am battling jet lag...oh yeah! My boss picked me up at the airport at O'dark thirty and drove me to base. I was able to tour the base, have lunch with his sweet family, go grocery shopping, check-in to my room and have a wonderful home cooked meal with them (including smores!) I started in-processing this morning, met some AMMO people, visited the car "lemon lot" and have my eye on a very nice "beater" and have an appointment to visit rentals with a realtor on Friday. So it's coming together...more to follow...
