The folks on the previous shift thought we were under attack when the A/C belt broke outside the office wall. It was on it's tail end of service life and Civil Engineering (CE) predicted it. They put the part on order a month ago but their supply system must not be as aggressive as our flightline supply personnel. CE simply told me it was going to be a "long wait and a hot summer!" We did a little research and found the part is $9.49...our supply guy ordered it and anticipates arrival Tuesday, 29 July. So we're in for a solid week of roasty climates inside and outside...much better outcome than what CE told us!
