Gifts & Growth

I stopped by the post office today and a surprise was waiting for me from my parents!  They just returned from Hawaii and purchased our new family favorite coffee (Lapperts) with some cookies but also a unique shirt...
Here's the story on the shirt...On 11 Sep 1992, the flooding from hurricane Iniki damaged so many shirts at Paradise Sportswear, a small island screenprinting company, that we were on the verge of bankruptcy.  To save the shirts and company, we developed a unique dirt dyeing process that grew into a worldwide brand: "Original Red Dirt Shirts"  You too could own one: http://www.dirtshirt.com/category.aspx?categoryID=9
I also stopped by the office to pick up my plants that a co-worker was caring for in my absence.  They've grown in 4 months!  It's so great to have them back in the home...
