Pre-deployment Dinner

I couldn't resist treating myself to a yummy grilled meal before I depart--what I recall from the last deployment is the food was less than desirable--on the flipside I didn't have to grocery shop, prepare and clean the kitchen!  :)

 My thick juicy steak using my Dad's secret steak sauce!

While my parents were visiting about a year ago, we selected this grill because it was flat on the top to keep his steak sauce warm.  To the left are the seasonings used each time you flip (pepper & garlic salt).  To the right is the most recent gift from the folks...a wireless steak monitor (cooking any type of food to perfection!)

Then for dessert, I grilled fresh pineapple!
